Unique barman experience

The story of the bearded bartender begins way back in 2003, when as a teenager in primary school, I decided to enroll in the only Italian catering school in Slovenia.

The condition for enrolling in school was, that you had to have an agreement on where you would do your internship, and this is where my first experience with hospitality began.

I stayed at my first job for 7 years, later I was carried away to work in different environments, among different people, including a few times abroad (specifically Italy), for which I am extremely grateful to this day.

I gained experience and did some courses with all kinds of drinks. I first focused on wine, so in 2010 I completed the ONAV wine taster course in Trieste.

A few (long) years later, I became interested in bartending and everything related to it, so in 2015 I completed a bartending course. This world totally took me over, so I started experimenting with flavors, continued my education and participated in some competitions.

In my penultimate job, in 2019 as an F&B manager, I got to know beer among other things, I went again on education abroad, and in the same year I also started brewing my own beer. After careful consideration and almost two decades, I decided to begin to write my own story as a freelance bartender.
